Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular Surgery publishes top research in minimally invasive cardiovascular surgery, including original clinical studies, experimental investigations with clear clinical relevance, state-of-the-art papers, literature reviews, and clinical cases on all aspects of experimental and surgical arrhythmology, cardiovascular surgery, endovascular surgery, intensive care and treatment of comorbid patients present with CVD. The peer-reviewed journal was founded by A.V. Vishnevsky National Medical Research Center of Surgery in 2022. This decision was taken at the Seventh Annual International Conference on Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery and Surgical Arrhythmology (AMICS 2022), dedicated to the Centenary of the Birth of V.I. Burakovsky, the outstanding Soviet and Russian cardiac surgeon.
